For Earth Week 2021, with friends in the Digital Nomad Girls Community, we organized a week of Climate Collage Workshops in different time zones. The workshops are a fun and collaborative way to learn about the mechanisms of climate change.

Sophia, our friend who’s leading the organization of this global endeavor, loves sea shanties. She shared this one before the week of workshops started. I reached out to Nick for the chords so I could sing it for fun 🙂

Check out Nick’s song here (and sing along — the lyrics are in the video). Thank you Nick for sharing the chords with me and for using art to talk about the climate crisis.

No birds in the air,

no fish in the sea

The flowers won’t grow,

Now we’ve got no beas

You can’t eat fruit from the money tree,

And plastic covers the ocean
